Good morning to all. As we have discussed at the end of the adult rehearsals the past two weeks (in other words, parents have not hear this), we are thinking about taking Voice from the Mountain to North Carolina next year, which would be in addition to any performances we would have in this area. The first task is to determine interest in such an excursion and whether the bulk of the company could actually participate. Please click below to access a Doodle poll that shows the dates we are considering: http://doodle.com/poll/7am7hhq8yxqr6yhi At this time, here are the guidelines I would ask you to follow in responding: (1) If you have a firm obligation on a particular date that cannot be moved OR if you are not interested in participating on a particular date, then say “no”. (2) Otherwise, if you are interested and you do not yet have obligations for a date, then please say “yes” to that date. If there is sufficient interest for a set of dates, then the next step will be for Dan, when he goes down to North Carolina in a couple of weeks, to inquire with his contacts as to whether we could find locations to perform during those dates. It would be only after that step is taken, assuming there would be performance options available, that we would ask for firmer commitments from all of you. And to be clear, we would want the kids to join us for this adventure, if it were to happen. I know this would require coordination with families, and presumably a parent or two coming along, but I am hopeful we could work this out.
