Anyone interested in the following? I haven’t checked lately to see if the class is full. Renni Somerville Community Access TV is offering two workshops with experienced grant writer and educator Ellen Gugel. The workshops are geared to the non-profit professional who is interested learning how to research applicable grants and create successful proposals. The classes will be held at the The Parenting Journey, 366 Somerville Avenue, Somerville on September 18 and 25 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The first workshop will cover grant-seeking, and the second grant writing. Each workshop is $50. Refreshments will be provided. Good morning to all. As we have discussed at the end of the adult rehearsals the past two weeks (in other words, parents have not hear this), we are thinking about taking Voice from the Mountain to North Carolina next year, which would be in addition to any performances we would have in this area. The first task is to determine interest in such an excursion and whether the bulk of the company could actually participate. Good evening to all. The results of my prior Doodle poll, regarding a rehearsal on November 1, indicated that we would be missing too many key people to make that day work. But since Jonathan is of the opinion that we would greatly benefit from an additional run-through, we are checking out some additional times on October 30 and 31.
